Frank A. Sofo, Project Director

Frank Sofo brings to Metro Partnership more than 30 years of experience as a real estate developer and construction manager, with 18 years working on properties in Yonkers, N.Y.

Over the years, Frank has worked on multiple property developments including single family homes, condominiums, townhouses, co-ops, shopping centers, office buildings, building conversions, wastewater treatment facilities, electrical substations, restaurants and, most recently, live/work rentals in the waterfront area of Yonkers. He has also lent his vast expertise to the development of a federal aviation complex.

Frank specializes in working with different types of structures including steel & deck, steel & plank, plank & block, poured concrete, lift slab, wood framing and prefab metal. He’s accustomed to working with various soil conditions such as rock, sand, wetlands and brownfields.
